February 26, 2017 I spent the entire morning packing my gear and equipment, with my partner, Stephane Caron. Double checking to make sure that I did not leave anything off my list from the night before because I knew how important this shoot was for me! You see, the first round on December 4, 2016 turned out to be a total disaster. I had my D7000 that I have been shooting with for the past couple of years. As a portrait photographer, most of my shoots were outdoors. In a low light situation, the camera completely lost focus and all my images were left out of focus with a lot of noise. My first experience of a complete mess and 96 parents to apologize to. My second round, I had my Nikon D750 and rented a 70-200mm lens (the bomb)! The results were simply AMAZING! Super sharp images and I couldn't say enough good things about the focus in the same indoor environment. Inside a gym, the ceiling is high and there is no white ceiling to bounce a flash off of. You're pretty much stuck with the strobes that you bring in for the shoot. It's calling, "working it" and that's what these girls achieve everyday at practice and competition! I'm very happy to be a part of capturing the year end for memories sake! #stingrayallstars #cheerleading #photography #youthsports
